This Sheet will help you understand how to use University Systems; note that each system has a separate Password, i.e SIS password is not the same as your ACES Password if you change it.
Student Information System (SIS) The University site http://www.aou.org.bh/onlineregisteration is the Student Information System (TIS) and is intended solely for you as Student through which you can obtain all the information you need such as your schedule, your transcript, registering online and even pay the fees of the courses . The site can be accessed anywhere. For this site you enter your university Id number, i.e. 40##### and the password already assigned to everybody which 123 unless you have already changed it. Arab Campus Site (Learning Management System) The site which is of extreme importance to both the students and the tutors alike is http://arabcampus.org . This site provides the students with their course TMAs and additional useful information related to their course. It moreover gives the students plenty of exercises, quizzes and useful handouts which reinforce the content of the course materials. For this site you enter your university Id number and the password already assigned to you. Arab Open University main website The URL www.arabou.org is the Arab Open University main website through which both the faculty tutors and the students can get the answer keys to all the questions in both the textbooks and the workbooks. This is accessed to by clicking the online courses icon. The site can be accessed from on and off campus and without a password. It is important that all the students understand how to get fully- acquainted with the application of the University internet sites. The way to achieve is for you to conduct have a practical session. This can be arranged through the Multi-media Team in the Resource Room. For this you can arrange one hour of your free time with Ms Reham Al-Khateeb, and her team, who will be more than willingly to help you with the necessary arrangements. |
