If you are an ARAMCO student read the following notes CAREFULLY before registering, otherwise proceed to the registration link below.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SAUDI ARAMCO STUDENTS
1. All Aramco students who have joined OUM-MBA program in the 1st semester of the academic year 2006/2007 or the summer semester of the academic year 2005/2006 have to register for the courses which will be given at Aramco Leadership Center in Dhahran starting Monday 13th November 2006.
2. Aramco students who have joined OUM-MBA program in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2005/2006 may either join the group of students in Aramco Leadership Center in Dhahran (see 1 above) or continue studying at AOU campus in Bahrain.
3. In the schedule of courses offered this semester (see the online registration link), find the three courses you have to register for; the registration office has identified them by the word 'Aramco'; the three courses are: Managerial Economics, Managerial Finance, and Organization and Business Management.
4. Register for the three courses and choose either section (10) or section (11) for each course. Please be aware that you may not be given the section you have chosen if the number of students exceeds the limit specified by the registration office. If any student has already completed one or more of the three courses mentioned in (3) above, then s/he may choose either to register for less number of courses this semester or to register for a new course offered only in Bahrain.
5. The students who will be studying in Aramco Leadership Center in Dhahran will be attending every Monday. On each Monday they will attend one course only, i.e. a session will be conducted once every three weeks for each course. (See Aramco schedule of courses below).
6. The deadline for Aramco students' registration is Wednesday 8th November 2006, 2:00 p.m. However, they should pay full fees and receive the courses materials at AOU campus in Bahrain. The deadline for payment of fees is Thursday 9th November, 3:00 p.m.
7. Once again, it should be noted that Aramco students will be attending only four sessions per course, i.e. once every three weeks; those sessions are considered as TUTORIALS, NOT LECTURES. The instructor will expect that every student comes to the face-to-face session prepared by having studies the material before attending that session. THEREFORE, THE INSTRUCTOR WILL NOT BE LECTURING; RATHER, HE WILL ANSWER QUESTIONS RAISED BY STUDENTS AND GUIDE THEM ON HOW TO MOVE FORWARD. The students should refer to the uploaded lectures which have been voice-recorded in a very detailed manner and matched to the power point presentations which are uploaded as well. They can listen to the uploaded lectures several times before and after the face-to-face sessions.
